Yayla Soup (Turkish Yogurt Soup)

Ingredients: 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup yogurt, 1 egg yolk, 1 tbsp flour, 5 cups water, 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp dried mint, salt.

Instructions: Boil rice in water until soft. Whisk yogurt, egg yolk, and flour in a bowl. Add a ladle of hot water to the mixture (to prevent curdling), then pour it into the pot. Stir until boiling. Top with melted butter and dried mint.
Baked Chicken and Vegetables

Ingredients: 4 chicken thighs, 2 potatoes, 1 zucchini, 1 carrot, 1 onion, 2 tbsp olive oil, salt, pepper, thyme.

Instructions: Slice vegetables into rounds. Season chicken with oil and spices. Arrange vegetables on a tray, place chicken on top. Bake at 190°C for 40-45 minutes.
Baked Rice Pudding (Sütlaç)

Ingredients: 1 liter milk, 1/2 cup rice, 1 cup sugar, 1 tbsp starch.

Instructions: Boil the rice. Add milk and sugar, bring to a boil. Mix starch with a little water and add to the pot. Pour into bowls and bake until the top is golden brown.
